Ian James Brooks (born 1928) was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party.
He represented the Marlborough electorate from the 1970 by-election after the death of Tom Shand the previous National MP to 1975, when he was defeated by Edward Latter the National candidate for what was usually a safe National seat.
